Mirrors, not just a reflection of your physical being

So, Mirror Trees, yes...time consuming but effective. It simply means a copy of a tree, a mirror. With my searches, after I find the closest relation via DNA, I look at their family tree, I start with them in creating my mirror tree. (This is easiest if you open two internet windows)

After adding them and any others that you can see on their tree, do the research and go back in adding their ancestors as far as you can go. (include siblings of these ancestors as well since the more you add the more shared ancestor hints you will get.) Once you can't go any further, move to the next closest person on your DNA match list. Eventually, you will find that some of your DNA matches have shared ancestors and you will start to see how they relate to each other. This is a first step in establishing how you, not knowing who your bio parent is, will fit into the family tree and how each of the DNA hits relates to you.
